Meet the Bs. They are fantastic family of 3! We got some fabulous pictures amongst some seriously yucky backdrops. It was overgrown, rusted, and truly perfect for the look we were going for. I am in love with these pictures and this family. The little doll of the family can't get any cuter and mom and dad have so much fun with her! It was a great time! Thanks B family for allowing me to have a great time with you!

THIS ONE'S FOR THE GIRLS-SPRING, TX SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
Rascal Flatts just kept running through my head while I edited the pictures from my very first Senior session. I have to tell you that I was super nervous about this shoot. I'm used to newborns and little ones that I can chase around. How was I going to make a high school senior comfortable enough to laugh out loud?? Well, I have to tell you...it was such a natural, easy experience and I loved every minute of our time together. Miss M is a beautiful girl inside and out. She was so fun!! We had a ball walking the waterway and finding some fun places for backdrops. Mom was a blast too. She was so sweet and easygoing. I really couldn't have asked for a better duo to be my high school "guinea pigs" so THANK YOU Miss M and your amazing momma! You were both so much fun and we got some AMAZING shots. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

on a cool november morning...SPRING, TX CHILD/FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
And that's just what it was. A cool November morning I met up with the V family again. I was so excited to see how much their sweet girl had grown. She is super fun and was just the best little 6 month old! She lasted a whole two hours and never even whimpered! We got so many cute shots (in spite of the threatening rain). The cousins even got to come towards the end of the shoot for a few smiles. Again, I had a funtastic time V's.

laughing with lauren-SPRING, TX CHILD PHOTOGRAPHER
Let me introduce you to Lauren. She is the most courageous, inspirational, and loving 5th grader. Lauren was recently diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. During treatments, she has begun to lose her hair.
What does that mean for this family? Party!!
Lauren's friends got together and threw her a WIG & HAT party!! The hostess (mom's friend) had wigs and hats set out EVERYWHERE! If ever there was a "style" you wanted to try, this was the time. The girls all dug in! There was giggling, smiling, and crazy fun!!
We set up the backdrops and let the papparazzi roll.
All we needed was Lady Gaga (wait..I might have seen that wig too!)
We had a great time! Laughter is the best medicine!
And Lauren...we've "got your back!"
If you want to read more of Lauren's story, visit her caringbridge site at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/laurenross. Her mom is the most entertaining writer.
I hope she writes a book about this journey one day.
